Making New Friends

I finally have made a concerted effort to meet new people here in Joshua Tree.  I guess after living here one year, it became clear that I was here to stay.  I did a search online through the Meetup Group website and found the High Desert Trekkers out of Yucca Valley.  Here are a few photos from our hike at Pioneertown Mountains Preserve a few weeks ago.  We had a nice potluck lunch after our 5-mile guided hike.
