Early Morning Snow in Joshua Tree National Park
Our winter has been unseasonably warm lately after initially starting off with some brutally cold temperatures. Most days have been in the 60s and so we started to think winter had come in briefly like the lion, but was going out very gently like the proverbial lamb. Then a storm came in that surprised us and it dropped a good amount of snow in JTNP.
These photos were taken at around 7:30 am on Feb 16th. I made a special trip to the park just to take a few quick photos since I knew this snow would not last throughout the day.
